GENERAL TERMS OF SALE GUEST HOUSES AND HOLIDAY COTTAGES
Article 1: This contract is intended for the exclusive use of the reservation of stays in guest houses or holiday cottages. The hosts will receive the best welcome. The owner will assure personally their welcome with all the desirable attentions to facilitate their stay and the knowledge of the region.
Article 2: Duration of the stay: the signatory customer of the present contract concluded for a determined duration cannot take advantage under any circumstances of any right to the preservation in places.
Article 3: Conclusion of the guest houses contract : the reservation becomes effective since the customer will have sent to the owner the total amount of the price of the stay for a reservation of an overnight stay, a 50 % deposit for a reservation of more than an overnight stay. The prices get on any included fees, except additional services not mentioned on the contract.
Article 3 bis: conclusion of the contract “Moulin du ru”: the reservation becomes effective since the customer will have sent to the owner a deposit of 25 % of the total amount of the rent or the total payment if payment by paypal. The price does not include fees and additional services.
Article 3 ter: reservation via SMARTBOX: The stays are guaranteed only after the reception of the payment, or the coupon Smartbox followed by the payment of the supplement if necessary. The totality of the payment is required at the reservation. The customer cannot validate his reservation in our establishment with Smartbox without declaring to have agreed with the general terms of sale of the site Smartbox during the establishment of the reservation. The click on the validation of reservation has value of electronic signature, equivalent in the contract between buyer and seller to a handwritten signature. The reservation becomes firm and definitive when the payment and/or the coupon Smartbox is registered on the site Smartbox
Article 4: Payment of the stay in guest houses and holiday cottages: the payment of the stay can be made by bank check to the order of Mrs FERRANDON, transfer on our RIB, or paypal on our web site via our account:

With Paypal, Customer can pay of two different manners:
- He already possesses an account Paypal: nothing more simple, The Customer connects on his Paypal account and follows the indications to make the transaction.
- He does not possess a Paypal account : the Customer can pay with his payment card. Our Paypal service gives the possibility of paying via diverse payment cards: - credit card
With Paypal, the number of bank card of the Customer is not passed to the host and the reservation is confirmed by the sending of an invoice which is worth confirmation of reservation This system of transaction is valid for all the amounts of payment in the whole of the countries of Europe having for currency the euro We do not keep the data of bank card of our customers on our web site.

Article 5: absence of retraction: for the reservations made by mail, by telephone or by internet, the customer does not benefit from the cooling-off period, and it according to the article L.221-28 (12 °) of the relative code of the consumption in particular in the services of hosting supplied in a date or
according to determined periodicity.
Article 6: Cancellation by the customer: any cancellation must be notified by registered letter sent to the owner.
- Cancellation before the beginning of the stay: if the cancellation is done more than 28 days before the beginning of the stay, a refund at the level of 25 % of the amount of the stay will be made.
- If the cancellation is done less than 30 days before the beginning of the stay, the deposit or the payment will remain acquired to the owner.
- If the cancellation is done less than 48 hours before the duration of the stay, the deposit will remain lost and the owner will demand besides the balance of the price of the stay only in case of payment of a deposit.
- In case of shortened stay, the price corresponding to the initial stay remains entirely acquired to the owner.
- If the customer does not show himself before 7 pm the day planned by the beginning of the stay, the present contract becomes unvalid and the owner can have his guest houses. The deposit remains acquired to the owner who will ask besides for the payment of the balance of the price of the stay only in case of payment of a deposit.
Article 7: Cancellation by the owner: when before the beginning of the stay, the owner cancels the stay, he has to inform the customer by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt, safe in case of cancellation before 12 pm of the beginning of the stay, to which case the owner or a person who will represent him will have to cancel by telephone. The deposit or the payment will then be paid off to the customer.
Article 8: Arrival: the customer says to appear the specified day and at the hours mentioned on the present contract or the confirmation of reservation. In case of late or deferred arrival, the customer has to warn the owner.
Article 9: Payment of the balance: the balance has to be paid on arrival at the owner's. The consumptions and the additional services not mentioned in the present contract or on the confirmation of reservation will be paid at the end of stay to the owner
Article 9 bis: Payment of fees for holiday cottages: at the end of stay, the price has to be paid to the owner, fees were not included in the price.
Article 10: Tourist tax: the tourist tax is a local tax which the customer has to pay to the owner who puts back it to the Public Treasury.
Article 11: Use of places: the customer will have to respect the peaceful character of places. He makes a commitment to return rooms in good condition.
Article 12: Capacity: the present reservation or the contract or the invoice is established for a precise number of people. If the number of customers exceeds this number, the owner can refuse the additional customers. This refusal can’t be considered as a modification or a breach of the contract on the initiative of the owner, so that in case of departure of a number of customers upper to those refused, no refund can be envisaged.
Article 13: Animals: the present contract or the invoice specifies if the customer can or not stay together with a pet. In case of non compliance with this clause by the customer, the owner can refuse animals. This refusal can’t be considered as a modification or a breach of the contract at the initiative of the
owner, so that in case of departure of the customer no refund can be envisaged.
Article 14: Rooms and holiday cottages are non-smoking, it is formally forbidden to drink alcohol and food in guest houses.
Article 16: For the respect for the tranquillity of places and for the hosts, thank you for not letting run or shout the children in rooms.
Article 15: Disputes: any possible legal actions can be instituted by the customer or the owner with the county court of Meaux, 44 avenue of the President Salvador Allende, 77100 MEAUX, for a live reservation owner, for a reservation with Smartbox or other sites sellers, get closer to general terms
of sale of these sites, because we are only persons receiving benefits(providers).
